For many years now GenExpress as a service provider in the area of contract research is a reliable business partner within the context of funded research projects which to date have always led to a satisfying result.

Funding projects - current

1. Joint research project : Biological vulnerabilities: Risk evaluation, ultra-fast detection and identification of agents relevant in terms of bio terrorism (BIGRUDI)

A joint research project funded by the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research) aiming at the combination of existing individual analyses for BT agents into an automatable, mulitplex capable and mobile detection system. Combined with spectroscopic detection methods the intention is to create a diagnostic platform allowing simultaneous, fast and sensitive detection of BT relevant agents also for non-specialist personnel (first responders).
Objective of GenExpress's subproject is the recombinant expression of bacterial, viral and toxic proteins for antibody and aptamer production.
